INTERACTION DESIGN SENIOR STUDIO | SPRING 2023
Brief: This is a capstone project where students build on the knowledge and skills they acquired throughout their Interaction Design career. We were given free choice on a singular, individual project that requires each student to explore various design concepts and alternatives as well as explore recent practices, tools, and systems that may be related to their project theme.
Tools used: Adobe Photoshop, pen and paper, Hot Wheels track
I created Braille Boulevard, a Hot Wheels playset for visually impaired children. It brings the typical Hot Wheels attitude in an accessible manner using braille. The playset is meant to encourage visually impaired children to learn about and interact with cars. The braille labels educate on the parts that make up a vehicle and provide context for what is on the playset.
Through Braille Boulevard, all children can play together the Hot Wheels way.
